Justice Sunanda Bhandare

Justice Sunanda Bhandare Foundation Set up in 1994 to perpetuate the beliefs of Justice Sunanda Bhandare, a judge of the Delhi High Court, the not-for-profit Justice Sunanda Bhandare Foundation's primary objective is to ensure gender justice through various ongoing programs.

Sunanda Bhandare herself the youngest woman judge of the Delhi High Court believed passionately in the principles of gender parity and strove to achieve this through her judgements and actions. The Foundation has been established by her husband, Murlidhar C. Bhandare, a senior advocate who practices in the Supreme Court of India and has been chairperson of the UNESCO Appeals Board for 12 years from 1992-2003.
